I literally only kept watching the last 3 episodes to read your recaps. This show truly turned into the unhinged soap opera we all l we it could become, and it was quite A Thing™️ to watch, tbh.

Ahhh this episode spent waaaay too much time on things I did not care about (Chip being pathetic, Plot device being lost) and not nearly enough time on all the important things like whether Noted Lesbian Laura Peterson and Bradley broke up or are doing long distance and what Noted Lesbian Laura Peterson wears on her ranch in Montana. Also, question of the cash from the end of the last episode? Where we supposed to understand that it was a refund from rehab and that's why this episode starts with Bradley hunting Plot device with no explanation? Is it supposed to be an open thread for next season. I'd be fine if they don't get a season 3 BUT we get a spin off 'The Evening Show' where Mia and Stella get to shine while they produce Noted Lesbian Laura Peterson's evening news/current affairs show.

I'm going to miss these recaps! You are 100% on point about there literally being no reason for Alex to be so defiant. People weren't even mad at her for the Mitch thing, they were mad at her for going to Italy! And she only apologized for it like an hour beforehand! Not to mention that her whole job relies on people finding her likeable. The idea that this famous woman going on an unhinged rant while suffering from COVID would make her likeable or something?

From this and the Mitch storyline, it's obvious that the show thinks making amends is just like feeling kinda bad for yourself and making some half hearted apologies?

I really do hope this show comes back for another season. It's obviously not good, but it has a really great cast and some stellar Jennifer Aniston performances. I don't want to watch another Adam Sandler movie to see her!

I just binged both seasons, and I am distraught that I didn't know about these recaps until I finished. I went through a lot, on my own, on this 20 episode journey, just so I could give the gift to my inner queer 90s child of seeing Nurse Hathaway with big gay Mommi energy. At least now I know, I was never really alone.
