I work in publishing and that blank book nonsense is NOT something that happens! Glad I wasn’t the only one who had to pause on that one. 😂

What is baffling about that line of dialogue?

Honestly who can say why what strikes me as the most baffling line reading does on any given episode? This one just kept running through my head, I think it was Jen’s line reading Sometimes we just go with the flow!!

Also, isn't she necessarily one of the unimportant people doing unimportant things, and if that's the case, is it actually important that she's (co-)moderating this (one of several) primary debate(s) that will barely move the needle at all on picking the next leader of the free world?

I'm a little baffled.

I, too, hate every second of the Mitch storyline (I can't even enjoy the gorgeous panoramic shots of Italy because it's like, ugh! Mitch incoming!) but after watching him confess to wrongdoing re: Hannah on camera this ep, I'm starting to wonder if Italian Lady (who is played by the actress who portrayed the mother in Portrait of a Lady on Fire!) was hired by the UBA board or Fred to get something incriminating out of Mitch that will help them deflect blame/negative public opinion back to Mitch regarding the lawsuit? It's the only thing I can think of that justifies giving his character camera time anymore (it doesn't justify giving his character camera time anymore).

I've also been reading Chaos Cory as aro/ace, so these apparent unrequited feelings for Bradley are uncomfortable and unwanted. Trying to make my personal headcanon be that his distress over discovering that Bradley and Laura are hanging/banging is just because he realized that leaking the rumor is going to hurt Bradley on a personal level that he wasn't expecting/intending. I don't really believe this myself, but I'm trying!

I truly do not understand why Chip is here. I thought maybe he accepted the producer job as a means of exacting subtle revenge against Alex for blowing up his 15 years of loyalty to her bullshit, but he's just been her whipping boy so far? And why does he want to introduce Alex to his fiance this episode - she was standing right behind Chip when Alex showed up on his doorstep to beg him to come back, did he not take the five seconds to be like, "and here is my new fiance" at that time?

...It is only by reading your review that I realised that they were not referring to Fergalicious Fergie. Seriously. Didn't even question it.

I think the problem with Cory having a crush is that Cory is just not the kind of person who should get crushes, at least not in my head. He seems more like someone who just has some really weird kinks that he pays someone to help him out with once a month or so, and aside from that remains entirely unperturbed by Matters of the Heart.

1. How is Noted Lesbian Laura Peterson single? 2. I can accept that she is single for reasons of pickiness, but in that case what the hell is she doing dating Bradley?? A Noted Lesbian of that calibre, dating a confused straight girl? What on earth?? With THAT APARTMENT?

I have always viewed Cory as an aromantic asexual, it’s the thing that makes the most sense!

Noted Lesbian Laura Peterson is single because she has not met me!!!!
